In terms of overall appearance, both the VS Factory and the genuine watch feature a 316 stainless steel case and a ceramic bezel. The lengths of the hour, minute, and second hands match those of the genuine watch, and the dial details are indistinguishable from the genuine product.
The name “1/4 Orange Seamaster” comes from the fact that the 0-15 scale on the bezel is orange, while the other 3/4 of the ceramic bezel is black. It's essential to emphasize that only the VS Factory's orange material matches the genuine watch perfectly. Both use the same technique of incorporating orange rubber into the ceramic bezel, while other unknown factories use simple paint layers to imitate it.
Regarding the dial, both VS Factory and the genuine product utilize ceramic panels to ensure a smooth, mirror-like surface. In contrast, lower-end versions on the market use copper plates with paint, which can lead to excess powder on the dial with prolonged use.
As for the movement, the VS Factory employs the independently developed 8900 movement, which is identical in functionality to the genuine product, making it one of the highest-quality versions available in the market.
Through caliper measurements, we found minimal differences in dimensions, ranging from 0.02mm to 0.03mm, which fall within the margin of mechanical error and can be completely disregarded.
The bracelet also features micro-adjustment functionality, just like the genuine product, and the inner design of the bracelet is identical to the genuine version.
In terms of luminescence, both the VS Factory replica and the genuine watch employ a dual-color luminescent design. The minute hand and the outer bezel luminescent pearl are green, while the markers, hour hand, and second hand are designed with blue luminescence, mirroring the genuine watch.
