Origin of the OMEGA Orbis Teddy Bear Watch:Since 2011, OMEGA has partnered with Orbis International to provide high-standard ophthalmic medical services to people in remote areas of the world, also gifting each child patient a cute teddy bear. To commemorate this initiative, OMEGA released a special edition watch. The watch we are introducing in this review is the Orbis Edition De Ville Prestige 27MM Women’s Watch. In the image below, the left is the KZ factory replica, and the right is the genuine version.
KZ factory doesn’t produce many replicas, but every model they do make is top-notch, and this watch is no exception. The watch is made as a 1:1 replica of the genuine version. The movement uses the Swiss-imported quartz movement 1376, which has the same accuracy as the genuine one.
Watch Case: The thickness is only 6MM, exactly the same as the original. The craftsmanship is excellent, using a polished finish and made of 316 stainless steel.
Dial:The most challenging part of making this watch is the dial color. The dial is composed of multiple intertwined teddy bear patterns, with a blue background. It required several modifications to fix the color differences compared to the original, but in the end, the factory managed to resolve this issue.
Movement:Below is a detailed image of the watch’s interior. The movement uses OMEGA’s genuine CAL.1376 movement, which the factory obtained through special channels. It’s rare to see a replica using a genuine movement.
Back of the Watch: Every watch has a unique code, and the engraving on the back is just as detailed as the original.
Strap: The strap was reverse-engineered from the original, disassembled, and then replicated. The precision is exactly the same as the original, and parts can be interchanged with the genuine version. For more detailed comparisons, you can refer to the comparison images below.
This is a 27.4mm women’s quartz watch, and both its stability and craftsmanship are identical to the genuine version. With the original movement, it is an excellent choice for a gift or personal use.
